HIV/AIDS implementers from around the world will gather in Windhoek, Namibia from June 10-14 for the 2009 HIV/AIDS Implementers’ Meeting. A total of 1,500 attendees are expected, representing governments, non-governmental organizations including faith- and community-based groups, multilateral organizations, the private sector, and groups of people living with HIV/AIDS.  Through presentations, dialogue and networking, participants will share information that will directly impact HIV/AIDS program implementation in the coming years.  For more information about the meeting program, please see the agenda.

Press will have full access to all meeting sessions, including the opening and closing ceremonies.  Availability of senior officials, other dignitaries and HIV/AIDS implementers will be arranged.
